Job summary

Government of Alberta is seeking a Business Analyst - SCM for the Greater Edmonton Area. This full-time role supports SAP/S/4HANA procurement and ERP analytics within the 1GX Centre of Excellence.

You will lead analysis, design, testing, and governance for releases, translating needs into actionable requirements while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors. Strong communication, analytic and problem‑solving skills are essential, with experience across Procure‑to‑Pay processes and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, science or equivalent.
• 2+ years with SAP SCM, including Procure-to-Pay and Sourcing.
• Experience with Ariba, Fieldglass and OpenText is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, testing and implementation of releases and features.
• Translate needs into clear requirements and solution specs.
• Provide production support, issue resolution and change governance.
• Drive continuous improvement and stakeholder adoption.
• Mentor junior analysts and support project leadership.
