Job summary

TEEMA is assisting a government client in Winnipeg, MB to fill an SAP Report Writer role on a 24-month contract, with onsite preference but remote considered. The specialist will design and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud reports, dashboards, and KPI content using S/4HANA data sources and CDS views to support ERP modernization.

Required are 7+ years in SAP modules, SAP BASIS, and leadership experience, plus strong communication and data validation skills.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in business analysis, system analysis, and solution architecture for complex information systems.
• 7+ years SAP BASIS administration with strong technical skills.
• 7+ years SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules experience.
• 7+ years experience with SAP Datasphere, CDS views, and enterprise reporting.
• Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, or equivalent data warehousing.
• Experience developing SAP Fiori dashboards, KPIs, and embedded analytics.
• Leadership experience managing teams and reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.

Overview:
Our government client in Winnipeg, Manitoba is looking for an SAP Report Writer resource for a 24-month contract (an initial 6-month contract with an extension option of an additional 18-month) reference 29954-RFR-DTS-073. The position is preferred to be onsite in Winnipeg, MB but remote will be considered

What you will be doing:

• Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the SAP S/4HANA Analytics (SAC) Report Writer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reports, dashboards, visualizations, and KPI reporting solutions that support business operations and strategic decision-making.
• Working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources, the Report Writer gathers reporting requirements, develops analytics solutions using SAP S/4HANA data sources, CDS views, and analytical queries, and ensures the delivery of accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting content.
• The role is responsible for validating data, troubleshooting reporting issues, supporting user adoption, and promoting reporting best practices, while contributing to the success of large-scale ERP modernization initiatives.

What you must have:

• A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
• 7 or more years experience in business analysis, system analysis and solution architecture of complex information systems.
• 7 or more years experience in SAP BASIS administration with strong technical skills.
• 7 or more years experience with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules
• 7 or more years experience with other data bases such as Sybase/ASE.
• 7 or more years experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS).

• 5 or more years of experience developing SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analyticssolutions using CDS Views, analytical queries, virtual data models, and Fiori-based reporting.
• 5 or more years of experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including analytics, reporting, integration, and extension services supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• 5 or more years of experience working with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, or equivalent SAP data warehousing and reporting environments.
• 5 or more years of experience designing enterprise reporting data models, KPI frameworks, metrics, dimensions, hierarchies, and analytical solutions.
• 5 or more years of experience implementing and supporting reporting security,including SAP authorizations, CDS access controls, analytic privileges, and role-based access models.
• 5 or more years of experience optimizing the performance of SAP reporting and analytics solutions, including SAC, S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, Datasphere, and Fiori applications.
• 5 or more years of experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources using APIs, OData services, SAP Integration Suite, and other enterprise data integration technologies.
• 5 or more years of experience performing data validation, reconciliation, testing, and quality assurance activities for analytics, reporting, and dashboard solutions.
• Experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytics solutions using SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Experience developing executive dashboards, scorecards, operational reports, and KPI reporting solutions within large public sector or enterprise organizations.
