Job description

Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Specialist to join their organization on a full-time permanent basis. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact number of on-site and remote days to be confirmed.

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central and Time Tracking modules, including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, attendance/absence codes, work schedules, vacation accruals, and collective agreement configurations.
  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to document requirements and implement SAP solutions.
  3. Design, configure, develop, test, and implement SAP HCM and SuccessFactors solutions using best practices.
  4. Provide ongoing support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
  5. SAP Certification in HCM or SuccessFactors Employee Central is required.
  6. Hands-on experience configuring schema rules, system configurations for collective agreements, CATS, Time Recording, Time Evaluation, and ESS-MSS/Fiori Apps.
  7. Experience testing support packs and supporting year-end processes.
  8. Integrations experience with SAP modules and third-party applications such as staff scheduling, benefits systems, ServiceNow, Winshuttle, etc.
  9. Experience with SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, and Performance & Goals is preferred.
  10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  11. Ability to identify process improvement opportunities within SAP and SuccessFactors domains.
  12. Maintain system integrity and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  13. Create and maintain documentation, test plans, and support user acceptance testing.
  14. Manage support package updates and SAP notes application.
  15. Provide expertise for integrating systems and developing end-user training.
  16. Maintain and upgrade relevant skills and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  17. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, IT, Business, or related field.
  18. Strong understanding of technology and business processes, with the ability to integrate functional and technical views.
  19. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  20. Legally authorized to work in Canada.
