Job summary

DXC Technology in Winnipeg, MB is seeking an experienced SAP MM specialist to provide Level 2/3 support for SAP MM and Inventory Management. You will analyze incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with stakeholders to optimize procurement and inventory processes.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP MM, ECC/S4HANA experience, and strong communication. Enterprise AMS and managed services exposure is a plus. Local Winnipeg residency is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Incident Management

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP MM and Inventory Management processes.


• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, service requests, and defects within established SLAs.


• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.


• Monitor support tickets and manage issue resolution through completion.


• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end inventory and procurement activities.

SAP MM Functional Support

• Support procurement processes including: Purchase requisitions, Requests for quotation (RFQ), Purchase orders, Source determination, Contracts and scheduling agreements, Vendor master management.


• Configure and maintain SAP MM functionality.


• Support release strategies and approval workflows.


• Troubleshoot pricing, account assignment, and purchasing issues.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve procurement efficiency.

Inventory Management Support

• Support inventory management processes including: Goods receipts, Goods issues, Transfer postings, Stock transfers, Physical inventory, Cycle counting, Batch management, Reservations.


• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolution activities.


• Support warehouse operations and inventory accuracy initiatives.


• Assist with inventory reconciliation and audit requirements.

Integration Support

• Support integration between SAP MM and: SAP EWM/WM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP FI/CO.


• Troubleshoot end-to-end process issues spanning multiple SAP modules.


• Coordinate with technical teams for interface monitoring and issue resolution.

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.


• Support minor enhancements and process improvements.


• Participate in testing activities including: Unit testing, Integration testing, User acceptance testing (UAT).


• Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation.


• Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.


• 5+ years of SAP MM functional experience.


• Strong experience supporting SAP Inventory Management processes.


• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.


• Hands-on experience with procurement, inventory management, and goods movement processes.


• Experience supporting production environments within an AMS or managed services organization.


• Strong understanding of integration with SAP SD, PP, FI/CO, and warehouse management solutions.


• Experience with incident management and ticketing tools.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.


• Experience supporting SAP EWM or SAP WM.


• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, consumer products, aerospace, or logistics industries.


• SAP MM certification.


• Experience working in global support environments.
