Job summary

Software International (SI) is seeking a SAP ISU Billing Consultant - Implementation for a 1 year contract in Toronto, ON. The role requires deep expertise in IS-U Billing across electricity or gas utilities, with hands-on experience in billing/invoicing concepts and master data.

You will engage with clients, coordinate with developers, and drive end-to-end implementation projects. The position emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced consulting

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of SAP ISU Billing experience in utilities.
• At least 1 end-to-end implementation and 2 support projects.
• Understanding of regulated vs deregulated utility processes.
• Strong hands-on IS-U Billing and Invoicing concepts.
• Experience with master data creation and RTP/TOU billing.

About the job SAP ISU Billing Consultant - Implementation

Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of Fortune 100/500/1000 and other companies in Canada/US. We currently have 2 positions for1 year long contracts with our F500 consulting client as a SAP ISU Billing Consultant - Implementation

Location: Toronto, ON

Required Start Date: ASAP

Type: 1 year contract + extensions

Key Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of SAP ISU Billing experience across electricity or Gas Utilities industries
• Experience in minimum 1 end-to-end Implementation and 2 support projects.
• Should understand the different business process of Utility Industry (Regulated and Deregulated)
• Strong hands-on experience on IS-U Billing & Invoicing concepts:
• Billing schema, Rates, Facts, Rate Facts group, Price key, Operand, Rate category, Rate type, Rate determination, Variant Program, adjustment reversals, summary billing
• Master data creation (BMD + TMD), Out sorting, Print work bench, RTP/TOU Billing, BPEM Configurations
• Strong analytical skills of SAP ISU data. Analyzing issues in Billing & Invoicing process.
• Understanding the regulatory requirements, competitive market requirements, inter company market transactions in a deregulated environment and regulated market.
• Should be able to deal efficiently in creating business master data, technical master data.
• Should have good communication and customer facing skill.
• Nice to have:
• Strong understanding of integration of SAP Billing with Smart Metering Infrastructure, CRM, FICA, Device Management, EDM
• Should be able co-ordinate with the developer and point the developer in right direction when it comes to analysing/fixing/ changing of objects/events/exits.
• Familiarity with various Budget billing methods
• Experience in business functions such as meter reading, meter data management.
• You can grasp a solution, talk about its business objective, and configure the solution and tools
• Youre an ace at managing and delivering projects
• Youre great at working creatively in a problem-solving environment
• Functional testing of requirements and debugging of codes
