Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Calgary is seeking a SAP IS-U Functional Consultant to support Meter-to-Cash, Billing, and Device Management operations. You will analyze incidents, address billing exceptions, and manage DM integration issues across IS-U modules.

The role includes preparing WRICEF specifications, performing unit/integration/UAT testing, and driving automation with Microsoft Fabric tools to reduce manual effort and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Analyze and resolve day-to-day incidents, billing exceptions, and defects to ensure smooth Meter-to-Cash operations.
• Provide operational support by addressing issues related to billing exceptions, device installation/removal, meter readings, and Device Management (DM) integration defects.
• Manage incidents and support operations related to data exchange (IDEX) processes, including IDoc processing.
• Perform SAP IS-U configuration updates for Billing and Device Management modules.
• Prepare functional specifications for WRICEF objects, including billing reports, DM workflows, and Fabric pipelines.
• Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT, ensuring end-to-end validation across systems.
• Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities using Microsoft Fabric capabilities such as Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Power BI embedded analytics.
• Analyze recurring issues and propose automation or process enhancements to reduce manual effort and minimize billing exceptions.
