Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. seeks a SAP IS-U Techno Functional Consultant to optimize Meter-to-Cash operations and resolve billing and device management issues. You will analyze incidents, support IDoc processing, and drive IS-U configurations for Billing and DM modules.

With 10+ years of experience, you will lead functional specs for WRICEF objects and coordinate testing cycles (Unit/Integration/UAT) while identifying automation opportunities using Fabric and Power BI analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall work experience in SAP IS-U with a techno-functional focus.
• Proven expertise in IS-U Billing and Device Management (DM).
• Experience in Meter-to-Cash processes and IDoc/IDEX data exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve day-to-day incidents, billing exceptions, and defects to ensure smooth Meter-to-Cash operations.
• Provide operational support addressing issues related to billing, device installation/removal, meter readings, and DM integration defects.
• Manage incidents and support operations for data exchange processes, including IDoc processing.
• Perform SAP IS-U configuration updates for Billing and DM modules.
• Prepare functional specifications for WRICEF objects including Billing reports, DM workflows, and Fabric pipelines.
• Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT; ensure end-to-end validation across systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using Microsoft Fabric capabilities (Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, Power BI embedded analytics).
• Analyze recurring issues and propose automation or process enhancements to reduce manual effort and minimize billing exceptions.
