The ideal candidate is a seasoned SAP HCM Time Management professional with deep configuration expertise, strong consulting skills, and experience delivering complex time management solutions in large enterprise environments. They are comfortable leading workshops, solving complex business challenges, supporting production environments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP HCM Time Consultant to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP HCM Time Management solutions.

The successful candidate will bring strong functional expertise in time management processes, including scheduling, leave management, time evaluation and payroll integration.

This role requires a combination of consulting experience, technical configuration skills, and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Required technical and professional expertise

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and business process workshops.
• Design, configure, and support SAP HCM Time Management solutions.
• Configure work schedules, holiday calendars, absence quotas, leave management, time evaluation rules, and time recording processes.
• Develop scalable solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.

Integration & Compliance

• Ensure seamless integration between SAP Time Management and related modules, including Payroll, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, and Employee Central.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective agreements, union requirements, and organizational policies.
• Support accurate payroll processing through effective time evaluation and validation.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide production support, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and minor enhancements.
• Analyze complex issues and develop sustainable solutions using structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, automation, and system efficiency.

Testing & Documentation

• Lead unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Support annual SAP HR Support Pack testing and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user guides.

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to understand and address business needs.
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and guidance to business users and support teams.
• Support project planning, deployment activities, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and support reporting related to attendance, absenteeism, overtime, leave balances, and workforce analytics.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on time management data.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on SAP HCM Time Management configuration experience.

• Experience integrating SAP Time Management with Payroll and other HR modules.
• Strong understanding of HR and workforce management processes.
• Experience supporting SAP HR Support Pack upgrades and system testing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 2 full lifecycle SAP HCM implementations.
• SAP HCM Time Management certification (HR200 or equivalent).
• Experience working within unionized environments and multiple collective agreements.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA HCM, ECC Mini Master, or hybrid landscapes.
• Previous consulting experience.
• Project leadership, team leadership or project management experience.

Education

• Associate degree, College Diploma, or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
