Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Transformation SAP Architect to guide large-scale finance transformations across Canada and beyond. You will design data storage and integration strategies, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure alignment with governance, predictive modeling, and visualization practices.

The role requires deep SAP FI/CO expertise, extensive S/4HANA experience, and a track record of delivering complex SAP transformations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in SAP FI including GL, AR, AP, PS and AA, with MM integration.
• 3+ years experience with S/4HANA.
• 5+ years leading Global Delivery teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to act as a Functional Solution Architect within the functional area.
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4 transformations and successful implementations.
• Proven capability in defining SAP Finance roadmaps and strategies for clients.
• Experience in leading business process reengineering to optimize finance workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to gain buy-in.
• Must have federal government security clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
• English required for interactions across Canada, US and global stakeholders.

• Interact with all workstreams – technical, reports, conversion, change management, PMO.
• Refine methods, tools and procedures to meet client needs.
• Check business requirements to find configuration solutions.
• Document requirements, solutions and impacts, decisions and alternatives.

You are:

A transformation maven with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. Your superpower? Using your know-how to solve clients’ most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.

The work:

• Strategically define how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and systems.
• Analyze, design and or implement data design and best practices through technology solutions. Aligned with data governance, predictive modeling, and or data visualization.
• Use your business smarts to kick-start transformation programs, whether domain- or platform-led.
• Work in a team where you wear lots of hats – interacting with clients, managing workstreams, collaborating with other teams – and where you may need to be in charge.
• Run the workstream and/or project activities you’ve been given.
• Interact with all workstreams – technical, reports, conversion, change management, project management and more.
• Tweak current methods, tools and procedures to create solutions that meet clients’ needs.
• Check business requirements to find configuration solutions.
• Keep a record of requirements, solutions and impacts, alternatives and final decisions.

Here’s what you need:

• At least 10+ years experience in SAP FI including GL, AR, AP, PS and AA, with experience integrating with MM.
• At least 3 years experience with S/4 HANA.
• At least 5 year experience managing teams in a Global Delivery module.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to act as a Functional Solution Architect within the functional area, providing high-level design expertise.
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4 transformations and a track record of successful project implementations.
• Proven capability in defining SAP Finance functional roadmaps and strategies for clients.
• Experience in leading business process reengineering efforts to optimize finance-related workflows and enhance process efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, including C-suite executives, to present functional strategies and gain buy-in.
• Must have federal government security clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company’s activities to avoid this requirement.

Role Location: British Columbia/Ontario/New Brunswick Annual Salary Range: $131,700 to $278,100
