Job summary

Delta System & Software, Inc. in Calgary, Canada, is seeking an SAP FICO R2R Test Lead to drive end-to-end testing of FICO processes across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Controlling.

You will design test strategies, plans, and scripts and coordinate SIT, UAT, and integration tests with Finance SMEs and external vendors. You will manage defect lifecycle, validate SAP FICO integrations with MM, SD, HCM, Treasury, and ensure data, configurations, and workflows are prepared for go-live and

Qualifications

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO R2R testing across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Controlling.
• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution schedules aligned with SAP requirements.
• Lead SIT, UAT, functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing for SAP FICO implementations and changes.
• Coordinate with finance SMEs, SAP/technical teams, integrations, and vendors to validate R2R processes.
• Validate journal entries, period/year-end closing, reporting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, allocations and postings.
• Manage defect lifecycle from logging to closure, including triage and root-cause analysis.
• Validate integrations between SAP FICO and MM, SD, HCM, Treasury, Tax and external systems.
• Ensure test data, master data, configuration, workflows, interfaces, and scenarios are prepared and validated.
• Track test execution, defects, risks, dependencies, KPIs; provide status reports and escalation.
• Drive sign-off and go-live readiness; resolve critical defects and support stabilization.

• Validate integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP/non-SAP modules (MM, SD, HCM, Treasury, Tax, external systems).

• Track test execution, defect trends, risks, dependencies, and KPIs; provide regular status reports to project leadership.
• Drive business sign-off and go-live readiness; ensure defects are resolved or accepted and support post-go-live stabilization.

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO Record-to-Report (R2R) testing across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling processes.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution schedules aligned with business and SAP requirements.
• Lead SIT, UAT, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and system changes.
• Coordinate with Finance business SMEs, SAP functional teams, technical teams, integration teams, and external vendors to ensure complete R2R process validation.
• Validate key R2R processes including journal entries, period/year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, allocations, and financial postings.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including defect logging, triage, prioritization, root-cause analysis, retesting, regression validation, and closure.
• Validate integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP/non-SAP modules, including MM, SD, HCM, Treasury, Tax, and external financial systems.
• Ensure test data, master data, configuration, workflows, authorizations, interfaces, and business scenarios are properly prepared and validated.
• Track test execution, defect trends, risks, dependencies, and testing KPIs, providing regular status reports and escalation to project leadership.

Drive
business sign-off and go-live readiness, ensuring critical R2R defects are resolved or formally accepted and supporting post-go-live stabilization activities
