Job summary

Coforge in Calgary seeks an experienced SAP Environment & Cutover Release Lead to plan, govern, and execute environment management, release governance, and cutover activities for the SAP S/4HANA transformation program. You will serve as the accountable owner for environments, transports, deployments, and go-live readiness across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in SAP program delivery, release or environment management.
• Proven lead for SAP S/4HANA deployments and go-lives.
• Strong SAP project delivery, governance, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the environment strategy across SAP landscapes (DEV to Production).
• Ensure environment availability and readiness for testing and deployment.
• Manage environment refreshes, data provisioning, and config synchronization.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve environment issues and mitigate risks.
• Maintain environment schedules and allocation across multiple workstreams.
• Establish and govern release management processes and deployment controls.
• Manage transport migrations and release deployments.
• Govern release scope, readiness criteria, and approvals.
• Lead cutover planning and governance activities.
• Plan and execute dress rehearsals and production readiness.
• Validate deployment timelines and rollback strategies.
• Ensure teams are prepared for production go-live.
