Job summary

Rheinmetall Canada, part of the German Rheinmetall group, seeks a SAP business analyst to ensure proper functioning of information systems across finance, sales, supply chains and operations. You will support users and lead SAP improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Hold a diploma or degree in computer science or related field.
• 3–5 years of critical application admin experience.
• 5+ years across SAP logistics modules (MM, WM, SD, PM, QM).
• Experience in ECC6 and multiple implementation/support projects.
• Customer-oriented, with strong bilingual communication.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and improve existing SAP solutions.
• Provide user support and investigate incidents to resolve them.
• Define needs and issues with clients.
• Collaborate with developers for applications and enhancements.
• Perform tests, document resolutions, and communicate changes.
• Assist super users with training guides and instructions.
• Support change management during deployments.
• Manage licenses and access security for SAP package.
• Manage transport orders between development, QA, and production.
• Develop/update reports and system documentation.

As an SAP® business analyst at Rheinmetall Canada, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of information systems for the company's organizational sectors such as finance, sales, supply chains and operations, logistics, quality, and human resources (modules: MM, WM, PS, QM, FICO, HR, SD). The analyst will be responsible for supporting users as well as SAP® improvement projects to optimize the company's business processes.

Here will be your main responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and improve existing SAP® solutions.
• Provide support to users and investigate incidents reported by them in order to resolve them.
• Accompany clients in defining their needs and issues.
• Work closely with programmers responsible for application development and enhancements.
• Perform tests, document resolution, and communicate changes to users.
• Assist super users in preparing and maintaining training guides for procedures and instructions.
• Accompany clients in change management by providing functional support during deployments.
• Manage licenses and administer access security for the SAP® integrated management software package.
• Manage transport orders between development, quality assurance, and production environments.
• Develop and update reports according to user needs, and update system documentation.

• Hold a diploma of collegial studies (technique) or a bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in critical application administration.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience related to the various logistics modules of SAP® (MM, WM, SD, PM, QM).
• Have worked in the ECC6 environment.
• Have extensive hands-on experience in various implementation projects and/or support environments.
• Have a customer-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, and the ability to well understand and identify the needs of our internal clientele, and effectively explain complex technical notions. *

Assets

• Have acquired experience with SAP® S/4 HANA (ECC to S/4 migration an asset)
