Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a SAP Basis professional to manage SAP environments, including ECC/S/4HANA, HANA, and Solution Manager. You will optimize performance, secure access, and handle transports and upgrades in a multinational setup.

You will design automation scripts to improve operations and contribute to DR planning, with a focus on reliability and scalable SAP landscapes. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and SAP certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• SAP Basis, SAP HANA, ITIL, ECC/S/4HANA certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and NetWeaver.

Responsibilities

• System Administration: Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade SAP systems such as ECC, CRM, BW, APO, Solution Manager, and SAP HANA.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, optimize database and application efficiency, and conduct health checks.
• Database Management: Administer Oracle, DB2, or HANA databases, including backups, restores, and patching.
• User and Authorization Management: Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and profiles for secure access.
• Transport and Change Management: Handle copies, refreshes, transport management, and system upgrades.
• Disaster Recovery: Support DR planning, testing, and execution for business continuity.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot system issues, collaborate with dev teams, and document procedures.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts/tools to streamline routine tasks.

Salary Range
