Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP finance consultant to join the Finance Systems Pod.

You will configure SAP ECC FI, AP, AR, CO, MM and support SAP Concur modules in a large enterprise environment. The role requires hands-on SAP configuration, systems analysis, and collaboration with vendors and business partners on ERP modernization, including ECC to S/4HANA migrations and finance data readiness.

Qualifications

Job Description :-

• The successful candidate will be working on our Finance Systems Pod, and will be responsible for configuring SAP ECC Finance modules; specifically, FI, AP, AR, CO, MM. Our SAP ERP environment is ECC 6.0 Enhancement Package 8. Detailed knowledge of impacts to SAP configuration is required to support sustainment and project delivery.
• Candidate will also be supporting SAP Concur - Expense, Request and Reporting modules.
• The candidate will bring senior years of hands‑on experience in SAP configuration and systems analysis, including experience supporting large‑scale programs.

Responsibilities :-

• Liaises with business stakeholders to understand industry trends and business objectives to design the solution that will meet their decision support and management reporting needs.
• Defines and communicates systems requirements at the appropriate level of detail to ensure applications are flexible, open, scalable, available, testable, and maintainable within a high‑volume production environment.
• Analyzes and conceptualizes the design of the solution, working with the Systems Architect, Vendors and Software Developer to achieve the client stakeholder objectives through effective deployment of technology.
• Apply in‑depth business and technical knowledge to represent both business and technology stakeholders in delivering technical solutions.
• Works with and collaborates with internal and external technology partners in meeting the needs of Financial Systems.
• Producing knowledge‑sharing documentation and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

• Hands‑on experience supporting or delivering SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including system conversion or selective transformation planning, business process impact assessment, testing, cutover preparation, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance transformation considerations for S/4HANA, such as Universal Journal impacts, finance master and transactional data readiness, custom code and interface assessment, and downstream integration dependencies.
• Experienced in providing operational and sustainment services
• Proven capabilities in establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and relationships
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, facilitation, presentation) and facilitation skills
• Demonstrated initiative and leadership abilities - comfortable managing issues in cross functional teams
• Experience working across functional, technical, and vendor teams to support large‑scale ERP modernization, including change readiness, solution design trade‑offs, test planning, defect triage, and release/cutover coordination.

• Experience with AI, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics applied to finance systems, such as financial close optimization, anomaly detection, forecasting, reconciliation, or workflow automation.
