Job summary

Wonderbrands is seeking a dedicated Team Member to maintain cleanliness across the production areas within a busy bakery setting in Langley, BC. This full-time role involves sanitation duties, waste disposal, and strict adherence to GMP, health and safety guidelines, and food safety requirements.

You will operate cleaning equipment, manage spills, and support a safe, efficient production floor while contributing to a strong culture of quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Experience in sanitation, ideally industrial sanitation.
• Comfort working with sanitizing agents and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet cleanliness standards.
• Enjoy fast-paced work, self-reliant, eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area.
• Use cleaning equipment to clean production floors, ceilings, and walls of the bakery across areas.
• Responsible for lockouts, dismantling, cleaning and sanitizing of production machines as required per sanitation schedule and SOPs.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures in line with GMP, Health and Safety guidelines.
• Collect waste and recyclables from production area and dispose of them.
• Assist in cleaning major spills of liquid or dry products as needed.
• Perform specialized cleaning procedures per sanitation schedule.
• Comply with all food safety, health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Adhere to GMP and GMP requirements at all times.

Wage: $22.66/hour

Shift:available to work any shift (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Responsibilities

• Maintainthe cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area.
• Use cleaning equipment (scrapers, brushes, pads, vacuums, scrub machine, compressed air,power washers) to clean production floors, ceilings, walls of the bakery (warehouse, freezer, refrigerators, packing and production).
• Beresponsible for lockouts, dismantling, cleaning and sanitizing ofproduction machines as requiredin accordance with master sanitation schedule and standard operating procedures.
• Adhereto cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Collectwaste andrecyclable materials from production areaand dispose of them.
• Assist in the cleaning of any major spills of liquid or dry products as needed.
• Perform specialized cleaning procedures in accordance with master sanitation schedule.
• Comply with all applicable legislative and Weston Bakeries food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• The Team Member is required to comply with all Food Safety, Quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements at all times.

Requirements

• Be a loverof bread and baked goods!
• Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!).
• Have previous experience in sanitation (even better if it is industrial sanitation!).
• You are comfortable working with sanitizing agents and chemicals.
• You’ve got really strong attention to detail and are able to meet cleanliness standards set by the company.
• Like working in a fast-paced environment, be self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career.
