Job summary

Sysco Canada Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to perform cleaning tasks and support daily operations. The role includes accurately recording information on SYSCO and external documents while providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

The candidate will assist in inventory and janitorial supplies purchasing, with ability to work in cold environments and stand for long periods. A high school diploma is preferred, and past warehouse experience is beneficial.

Role Responsibilities:

• To perform the necessary cleaning function in the warehouse.
• To accurately record information on SYSCO and external documents.
• To provide customer service both externally and internally.
• Assist in inventory and purchases of janitorial supplies as requested.
• Complies with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
• Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
• Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
