· Use approved chemicals to consistently disinfect various surfaces to ensure proper sanitization methods occur

· Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment during downtime

· Properly dispose of waste

· Report any food contamination issues to Maintenance and Sanitation Manager

· Sweep, mop, clear garbage and participate in all facility cleanliness needs

· Lead the prevention of cross contamination of products and communicate issues with Quality Assurance team when required

· Maintain all sanitation tools and equipment in good working condition

· Follow all SDS sheets, WHMIS, GMP, HACCP and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs)

· Promote and enforce Health and Safety regulations and policies

· Fill in daily cleaning and sanitation logs

· Restock and maintain inventory of sanitation equipment and cleaning agents

· Ensure food safety remains high priority and is an ambassador for a food-safe culture

· English language is required.

· No previous experience required.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Other duties as required
