Job summary

Bento's Ontario Food Factory in Richmond Hill is seeking a Sanitation Teammate to clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, walls, tables and floors using chemicals. You will help maintain a clean and safe production environment and support our guests’ dining experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning, inspecting equipment, disposing of waste, testing sanitizer concentrations with paper strips, completing sanitation records daily, and following written SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic English verbal and written communication.
• WHMIS certificate is an asset.

Location and hours

• OntarioFood Factory: 25 Sims Crescent, Unit 1, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1C9 | Sunday to Friday

Responsibilities

The Sanitation Teammate is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, walls, tables, and floors using chemicals.

• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, walls, tables, and floors using chemicals.
• Maintain cleanliness of office area and staff cafeteria.
• Perform inspection of equipment, utensils, etc. to ensure not broken / missing parts and intact.
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials as required.
• Test sanitizer concentrations with paper strips.
• Complete sanitation records on a daily basis.
• Follow company's written SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Advise management of any sanitation related deficiencies.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb)
• Minimum high school diploma
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills
• WHMIS certificate is an asset
