Job summary

Altasciences in Laval, QC, is seeking a Sample Logistic Coordinator, Sample Management to oversee incoming sample shipments, reception coordination between QC, technicians and Watson LIMS, and to manage discrepancies.

You will create schedules, update documentation, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with SOPs, GLPs and GCPs. French and English communication required; 3 years in sample management preferred; Excel, SharePoint 365 and Watson LIMS experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma of College Studies in Sciences or B.Sc.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sample management
• Data Entry
• Good communication in both French and English
• Knowledge of FDA-GLP, GCP and TPD regulation is an asset.
• Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical field is an asset.
• Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Office 365 would be an asset
• Knowledge of Watson LIMS would be an asset
• Attentive to details.

• Works well within a team
• Able to function with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sample receptions and ensure timely processing.
• Create technician schedules and update priorities.
• Review forms to ensure Good Documentation Practice.
• Monitor shipments and update Kanbanize/SharePoint when needed.
• Maintain study discrepancy trackers and SAP/Waston LIMS entries.
• Collaborate with investigators and study designers to resolve discrepancies.
• Generate KPI QC reports on deviations and discrepancies for management.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure work complies with SOPs, GLPs, and GCPs.
• Communicate documentation to customs or couriers when required.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
