Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to oversee the technical delivery of Salesforce solutions for a major client in the insurance sector. You will lead a blended onshore/offshore team, collaborating with a dedicated Salesforce Architect to translate architectural designs into practical development tasks.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to coach developers while maintaining alignment with the overall solution strategy.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years Salesforce experience.
• Minimum of 3 years Salesforce Technical Lead experience.
• Financial services industry experience, ideally within insurance.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and solution design.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to confidently provide technical direction and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Insight Global is looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead to join one of the largest consulting firms in the world on an engagement for a client within the insurance industry. This person will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of Salesforce solutions across a team of onshore and offshore developers. They will work closely with a dedicated Salesforce Architect to understand the overall solution architecture and design, provide technical input, and translate that design into clear direction for the development team. They will also lead and coach Salesforce developers throughout delivery, helping the team navigate technical challenges and ensuring development aligns with the overall solution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical point of view and be comfortable providing recommendations and direction to the team. This role requires a minimum of two days per week onsite in downtown Toronto.

Skills and Requirements

• 7–10 years of Salesforce experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce Technical Lead experience
• Financial services industry experience, ideally within insurance
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and solution design, with the ability to understand designs and provide technical input
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to confidently provide technical direction and recommendations
• Salesforce Flows experience, ideally within end case management
