Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to own the QA strategy for Salesforce FSC and Lightning Experience while remaining hands-on with test planning, automation, and defect management.

You will design scalable automation frameworks, perform end-to-end testing across Salesforce FSC and Wealth Management platforms, validate configurations and data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Lightning Experience.
• Wealth Management / Financial Services domain expertise.
• Strong API testing and backend data validation with SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and mentoring QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the overall QA strategy for Salesforce applications while remaining hands-on with test planning, automation, execution, and defect management.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and automated test scripts for Salesforce FSC and Lightning Experience applications.
• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, API, and system testing across Salesforce FSC, Wealth Management platforms, and related financial applications.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, business processes, data quality, security settings, and integrations with upstream and downstream financial systems.
• Execute backend data validation using SQL and perform testing of REST/SOAP APIs, interfaces, and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Wealth Management stakeholders to review requirements, identify risks, and ensure high-quality delivery throughout the SDLC.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, contribute to CI/CD automation initiatives, and provide technical guidance while actively participating in hands-on testing and automation development.
