Position Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner for our Salesforce platform who has comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce and proven experience in managing and optimizing CRM solutions to meet business goals. The candidate will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. They will also collaborate with users to enhance their experience by improving the usability and functionality of the Salesforce platform. Additionally, the candidate will promote best practices in user experience design to ensure the platform remains intuitive and accessible for all users.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Define and Communicate Vision: Develop a clear vision and roadmap for the Salesforce platform that aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and ensure that the Salesforce platform is effectively meeting those needs.
- Ability to create solutions focused on client needs that enhance engagement and adoption; stay updated with innovation and industry trends
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is always working on the most valuable features and improvements.
- Agile Development: Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- User Stories: Write clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications to guide the development process.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance and usage of the Salesforce platform, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring optimal performance.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to effectively use the Salesforce platform
- Lead and manage a team of Salesforce support resources, including the creation of business goals, metrics, and KPIs to optimize team performance. Implement these measures at an individual level through coaching and development of team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with at least 3 years of experience working with Salesforce.
- Experience working within the Wealth Management industry and with Salesforce Finances Services Cloud (FSC) edition preferred
- Certifications: Product owner and Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- User Experience Skills: Demonstrated ability to understand user needs and create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, hybrid team environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation among team members.
