Job summary

Sobeys in Mississauga is looking for a Technical Lead for Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud to guide design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of our marketing technology platforms. You will lead hands-on technical work, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product owners to drive business value.

You will ensure secure, scalable, and performant solutions while aligning technology with business goals, fostering a collaborative, team-first environment across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud abilities are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5–8+ years of software development, platform engineering, or CRM/MarTech experience.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms to support data/activation use cases.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution by shaping user experience and aligning technical delivery with business priorities.
• Serve as the technical SME for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, effective technical solutions.
• Provide guidance on design decisions, balancing practicality, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver business value.
• Mentor developers through reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidance.
• Lead or support Agile ceremonies and remove delivery blockers.
• Ensure high-quality releases through testing, validation, and deployment practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (data, integration, security) to deliver cohesive solutions.
