Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Functional Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders, lead workshops, and design Salesforce solutions within a regulated financial-services context.

You will drive requirements, create Epics and user stories, support QA, and ensure security best practices while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Functional Lead with Salesforce and financial industry experience.
• Experience delivering Salesforce solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of banking workflows and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and core banking integrations.
• Skilled in cross-functional communication with executives.
• Familiar with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and DevOps in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, as‑is and future state processes.
• Conduct workshops and refine user stories and Epics with Product owners and leads.
• Identify and propose Salesforce out-of-the-box solutions; design custom options when needed.
• Prepare materials for design authority reviews to align business and tech.
• Perform POC and impact analysis on Salesforce processes and data.
• Create functional artifacts and maintain Confluence documentation.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and lead refinement sessions.
• Support QA with scenarios and review test cases against business needs.
• Assist in defect triage and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce security best practices.

Salesforce Functional Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, as-is and future state business processes and pain points
• Conduct workshops, interviews and requirement gathering and refinement sessions with Product owners and other relevant stakeholders - including architects and tech leads
• Identify and propose best possible Salesforce out of the box solution for the problem statement and if gaps exist, propose suitable custom solution in collaboration with tech lead and UX teams.
• Prepare and present material to Program Salesforce design authority for review of problem statement and proposed solution options to arrive at the best possible outcome that's acceptable to business and technology teams
• Perform POC and impact analysis on existing Salesforce processes, configurations and data and present options to Product Owner
• Create functional artifacts such as solution refined Epics, broken down User stories ready for development, functional documentation summarized in confluence page.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and lead squad refinement sessions
• Support QA by providing functional scenarios, clarifying requirements and reviewing test cases against business needs
• Assist in defect triage and resolution
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security standards

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience working as a Functional Lead in Salesforce and financial industry
• Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions at scale in a highly regulated, enterprise scale environments
• Deep understanding of banking workflows, customer and product lifecycle and financial compliance
• Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services cloud and integration with core banking systems and data lakes
• Ability to lead conversations with cross functional teams and engage effectively with executives, senior leaders and technical teams
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, confluence and DevOps pipelines in enterprise settings

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
