Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Toronto & Calgary

As a developer for the SF Platform within Wealth Management Canada (WMC), you will play a key role in implementing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) as the new WMC CRM platform. You will contribute to solution design, focusing on CRM setup, integration points, and processes to enable data-driven analytics and enhance client engagement. Join a diverse, inclusive agile team working on Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud and Lightning platform, employing the latest technology, scaled agile practices, and DevOps/SRE methodologies.

What will you do?

1. Assess and analyze business strategies, requirements, current environment, and technology options to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business needs, leveraging CRM product features and considering impact across Lines of Business using CRM and FSC organizational structures.
2. Ensure solutions consider functional and non-functional aspects such as resiliency, scalability, and security, supporting long-term strategic goals.
3. Contribute to the design and development of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud to drive business value.
4. Assist scrum teams in gathering requirements and user stories to develop and enhance Salesforce platform functionality, including technical analysis and estimates.
5. Support DevOps development and improve process efficiencies.
6. Stay current with Salesforce development platform updates and implement best practices according to internal standards and guidelines.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 5+ years of experience working on engineering teams, including 3+ years of Salesforce Platform experience delivering large projects, involving configuration, customization, and development using Salesforce.com.
• Hands-on experience with Lightning platform, including APEX coding, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and Salesforce Data Model.
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, architecture, and product suite, including Sales & Service Cloud and/or Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using Mulesoft, REST APIs, and event-based integration patterns.
• Strong technical background in web development technologies such as Java, C#, HTML, XML, JSP, and JavaScript.
