Job summary

Aviva Canada has an exciting opportunity to join our commercial Global Corporate and Specialty team. The Salesforce Administrator will help to enhance and improve the CRM and underwriting workbench for 5 specialty business lines.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams to ensure Salesforce supports business processes, drives operational efficiency, and delivers high-quality reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Salesforce administration experience.
• Salesforce Administration Certification (ADM 201).
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies is an asset.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, and automation.
• Manage user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
• Support system releases, testing, and deployment activities.
• Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs that support decision-making.
• Monitor and improve data quality through audits and cleansing.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams to ensure Salesforce effectively supports business processes, drives operational efficiency, and delivers high-quality reporting and insights.

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for platform configuration, user support, data quality, process automation, reporting, security management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll do

Salesforce Administration & Configuration

• Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, and automation.
• Manage user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
• Support system releases, testing, and deployment activities.
• Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

Business Process Improvement

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design scalable Salesforce solutions that improve productivity and user experience.

Reporting & Governance

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and improve data quality through audits, validation controls, and cleansing activities.
• Support data migrations, integrations, and data management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational data governance, privacy, and retention requirements.

What you'll bring

• 3-5+ years of Salesforce administration experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies is an asset.
• Salesforce Administration Certification (ADM 201).
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

What makes you stand out

• Experience supporting insurance or financial services.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, or Excel VBA is considered beneficial.

What you'll get

• The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, as well as internal equity.
