Aviva Canada is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the Reserving team within the Corporate Actuarial department. You will analyze reserve adequacy, contribute to quarterly and year-end reports, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand reserving impacts on financial performance.

• Provide insights into the company’s financial performance from a reserving perspective.

The Opportunity

Aviva Canada is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Reserving team within the Corporate Actuarial department. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment with exposure across multiple actuarial disciplines. In this position, you will contribute to critical reserving analysis while developing your technical capabilities. You will work closely with partners across the business and gain insight into how actuarial reserving supports financial performance and strategic decision making.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Quarterly Reserve Committee and Year-end Valuation reports.

• The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 to $125,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
