Position Overview: Under general supervision, this role involves developing industry-specific knowledge and experience necessary for promotion to the Outside Sales Representative position. The role may include rotations through various departments to observe, learn, and perform responsibilities related to industry knowledge, processes, and sales techniques.

  1. Receive training and perform duties in areas such as yard operations, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, and inside sales while learning outside sales responsibilities.
  2. Assist Outside Sales Reps or the Sales Manager on customer calls to learn effective sales and customer service techniques.
  3. Handle inside sales/counter responsibilities, including answering phones and taking orders.
  4. Perform outside sales tasks such as take-offs, order processing, obtaining signatures, and making sales calls to customers.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, with 0-2 years of industry operations or sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
