Job summary

TotalBattery Ottawa is seeking a Sales Representative to develop the market by prospecting new customers and handling inquiries while providing detailed information about products and policies. You will process orders and follow up on customer files, meeting regularly with existing customers and building relationships with prospective buyers for TotalBattery locations.

A strong emphasis on service quality is expected.

Qualifications

• B2B sales and customer service experience, minimum three years.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French is an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within North America.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM tools; ability to present products to customers.

Responsibilities

Job description

What you will do:

The TotalBattery representative develops the market by prospecting for new customers and responding to customer inquiries while providing information about the company’s products, services, and policies. You will also process orders and follow up on customer files. You will meet regularly with existing customers—virtually whenever possible—and actively build business relationships with prospective customers for Total Battery locations. At all times, you will be expected to maintain high standards of service quality.

The TotalBattery Sales Representative will serve the Ottawa region, including Ottawa, Nepean, Pembroke, and Stittsville.

Requirements

• Beable to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Frenchis an asset;
• Haveat least three years of experience in B2B sales and customer service;
• Holda valid driver's licence;
• Beproficient with Microsoft 365 and computer tools, such as a CRM;
• Knowledgeof alternative energy products is an asset;
• Bea team player with an innovative mindset;
• Demonstratea strong respect for customers and a genuine desire to help and respondeffectively to their needs;
• Beable to deliver presentations on products and services to customers;

Workingcondition

The position is based on a 40 hour workweek, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A one-hour unpaid lunch break is provided. Weekly attendance at team meetings is required. Employees may also occasionally be required to attend one-day job-specific training sessions. Travel within North America will be required to attend certain trade shows, as well as travel outside Ontario to meet with customers.

You will also be provided with office space at Total Battery Ottawa.
