Job Description

The Rental Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing short-term and long-term rental revenues within an assigned territory. This role involves meeting individual sales objectives while working with customers to manage their equipment costs efficiently. The ability to communicate the value of premium equipment in a price-sensitive market is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and a solution-oriented approach. A valid driver's license is required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maximize sales of new and used equipment
  2. Secure short- and long-term rental agreements in the assigned territory
  3. Promote parts and service sales within the territory
  4. Encourage Customer Support Agreements and maintenance programs
  5. Maintain accurate customer data records
  6. Assist in collecting past due invoices
  7. Monitor and report on product performance and competitive activity
  8. Serve as a liaison between customers, TTCO, and vendors
  9. Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  10. Negotiate resolutions for customer complaints
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience

Previous sales experience and knowledge of the material handling industry are preferred. Proficiency with personal computers and basic typing skills are required.

Licenses & Certifications

Valid personal driver's license is required.
