Job description

With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring sales representatives, referred to as Logistics Account Managers. This position is for aspiring sales professionals who are driven, hardworking, and looking for unlimited growth. Sales experience and supply-chain experience are NOT required; we look for attitude and work ethic.

THE ROLE

You will begin in a training role and learn all aspects of the industry. This training will help you develop skills to differentiate yourself from the competition. As you become more knowledgeable, you will pursue your own clients and manage the movement of their freight. You will handle every aspect of your accounts and serve as the lead contact for their transportation needs, available 24/7/365. The Logistics Account Manager role offers the opportunity to achieve financial freedom through unlimited earning potential. During the first 6–8 months, you will receive a training salary. As you build your client base and your commission earnings surpass your salary, you will transition to a 100% uncapped commission-based pay structure. Scotlynn provides all necessary training and tools to support your success. This role may also be known as Inside Sales Representative, Sales Agent, Account Manager, or Account Representative.

Work experience in customer-facing roles from industries such as hospitality, insurance, telecommunications, retail, and door-to-door sales is welcomed and appreciated.

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN
  • Build a portfolio of clients by actively researching and seeking out prospects
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and carriers by providing excellent customer service
  • Locate carriers for negotiated freight loads
  • Negotiate fair rates with clients and carriers
  • Act as the liaison between the client, carrier, shipper, and receiver
  • Accurately enter and maintain up-to-date information
  • Proactively identify and solve issues
YOUR COMMITMENT
  • This is a full-time, permanent role
  • Work in-office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, plus 8 am to 12 pm every other Saturday during training
  • After training, after-hours work may be required to manage your book of business successfully
