The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, ALPA Equipment Ltd. is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven individual to join our sales team. This is more than just a sales role - it's an opportunity to take ownership of a well-established territory, build long-term customer relationships, and represent leading equipment brands with the support of a respected, family-owned Canadian company.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our equipment brands, including JCB and Hyundai within an assigned territory in Nova Scotia.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with existing customers while prospecting and developing your assigned territory.
• Contact & arrange meetings with potential customers via telephone, e-mail, or face-to-face.
• Generate leads & identify opportunities for new business within the market.
• Negotiate pricing with potential customers and close sales.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Continuous improvement of product knowledge.
• Invite customers to company-sponsored events.
• Attend all industry trade shows and events.

REQUIREMENTS

Education, experience, and skills required:

• Valid driver’s License: clean abstract.
• 75% travel is required.
• Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities.
