Job summary

Sleeman Breweries in Quebec is seeking a Sales Representative to grow our trade presence within the province. You will build relationships with retailers and on-premise accounts, execute sales plans, and coordinate merchandising and promotions to drive volume and margins.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in FMCG sales, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of the beverage sector and RBS certification are assets in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment.
• Post-secondary education in a related field.
• Proven ability to execute sales plans, achieve targets, and drive revenue growth.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
• Effective written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including CRM 365, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Beverage alcohol industry experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to demonstrate behaviours aligned with organisational values.
• Responsible beverage service certification (as required by province).

• Coordinate and execute key account and marketing programs, providing feedback on effectiveness.
• Maintain merchandising standards and influence space allocation and product visibility.
• Manage expenses within budget and implement continuous improvement (MUDA reduction).
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM systems and collaborate with internal partners.
• Participate in industry events and stay current on competitor activity and consumer trends.

Purpose and Impact

Within the assigned sales territory, the Sales Representative represents Sleeman Breweries and grows portfolio presence in the trade. This role drives volume and gross margin performance by building strong customer relationships, executing effective sales strategies, and delivering best-in-class merchandising and program execution.
