Job summary

SA Service Agricole is seeking a sales representative to join the team in Mont-Joli. You will help agricultural producers select machinery and equipment while representing Massey Ferguson and Fendt brands across the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.

Responsibilities include building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, meeting farmers, advising on tractors and equipment, and closing sales with supported commissions and bonuses. A DEP and 3–5 years in sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• DEP in a relevant field is required.
• 3–5 years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of agriculture and farming equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

SA Service Agricole du Bas-Saint-Laurent is looking for a sales representative to join his team in Mont-Joli!

As a sales representative, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and growing our business. You will assist agricultural producers in selecting machinery and equipment tailored to their needs, while representing well-known brands such as Massey Ferguson and Fendt.

Your main tasks will be to :

• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with existing customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand your sales territory.
• Meet with farmers to gain a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Advise customers on selecting tractors and farm equipment suited to their operations.
• Ensure thorough follow-up with customers throughout the sales process.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate, and close sales.
• Work with the various departments at the branch to provide quality service.
• Meet the established sales targets.
• Travel regularly throughout the region to meet with clients and develop new business relationships.

You ideally have :

• A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in a relevant field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally in sales.
• Knowledge of the agricultural sector, agricultural machinery, and equipment (a plus).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• An ability to build connections and develop new business relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Autonomy, initiative, and a results-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with computer tools.
• Excellent teamwork.
• A passion for working on the road and being close to your customers.
