Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Retail Outfitter in Canada to join our team and deliver legendary customer service while sharing in-depth product knowledge across our outdoor lifestyle merchandise.

You will work with a group Sales Manager to create a world-class shopping experience, supporting customers through informed decisions and promoting store programs, with strong attention to presentation and a passion for the outdoors.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, and making product recommendations based on this analysis.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
