We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our Business Development team in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role ensures our sales team operates efficiently by managing sales data, creating reports, and setting team goals. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and a proven track record in defining sales strategy and operations.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals to drive revenue growth.
  2. Collaborate with leadership to establish sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs.
  3. Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive insights to inform decisions.
  4. Support onboarding initiatives to develop a high-performing sales team.
  5. Design and deliver training programs to enhance skills and product knowledge.
  6. Coach and mentor the sales team to ensure best practices and process adherence.
  7. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  8. Identify bottlenecks and opportunities within the sales process.
  9. Monitor sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
  10. Build and maintain sales processes, tools, and systems for efficiency.
  11. Manage CRM data integrity and tool utilization.
  12. Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align initiatives.
  13. Continuously improve sales processes for scalability.
  14. Prepare regular sales performance and pipeline reports for leadership.
  15. Identify and implement new tools or technologies to enhance operations.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
  • 4-6+ years in sales operations, strategy, or management, preferably in mining or technology sectors.
  • Proven success with high-performing sales teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Financial acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and pipeline management.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is an asset.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Passionate about enabling team success and fostering collaboration.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

The salary will be based on experience, skills, market data, and internal equity, and may be outside the posted range.
