ABOUT THE ROLE

The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, setting sales goals, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and sales expertise to achieve the dealership's sales objectives.

  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Set individual and team sales goals while conducting regular sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory to ensure an optimal selection of vehicles.
  • Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Prepare sales reports and present them to senior management.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure the day-to-day success of the Sales department and sales teams.
  • Other responsibilities as required.
ABOUT YOU
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract is required.
  • Proven experience in automotive sales is required to be successful in this role.
  • Previous management experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
