Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Compact Construction Equipment and Worksite Products Sales Manager to lead the Stoney Creek and Cambridge teams, drive sales growth, and ensure profitability across our equipment and worksite product lines. You will shape the inventory mix and guide the sales department toward sustained market leadership.

The role requires 3–5 years of management experience, strong communication, and a proven sales track record in construction or forestry.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to develop positive client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven sales experience in construction/forestry preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressively responsible management experience.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and hold a valid passport.
  • Valid driver's abstract required.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales growth and profitability for Compact Construction Equipment and Worksite Products.
  • Develop inventory mix to support sales and market share goals.
  • Manage and develop department staff for long-term success.
  • Meet market share goals in line with manufacturer and company.
  • Provide feedback on opportunities and competitive pressures.
  • Support branch accounts receivable with credit team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Compact Construction Equipment and Worksite Products Sales Manager for our Stoney Creek and Cambridge locations.

This position is responsible for achieving sales growth and profitability of the Compact Construction Equipment, and Worksite Products Sales department.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Achieving asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assist, including but not limited to new and used wholegoods inventory
  • Providing for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals
  • Management and development of all employees in the Compact Construction Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees
  • Achieving market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company
  • Providing feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures
  • Assisting in the management of branch account receivables in conjunctions with the Director of Credit Services and VP of Operations
  • Other duties as assigned
What We Look For
  • Ability to develop sound, positive relationships with internal and external clients
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – are required
  • Knowledge of the equipment and construction industry is considered an asset
  • Proven sales experience (preferably within the construction/forestry industry)
  • 3-5 years' progressively responsible management experience
  • Candidates must currently possess or be able to obtain a valid passport, and be able to travel internationally
  • A recent driver’s abstract will be required
