Job summary

Qualico Group's Star Building Materials division in Edmonton seeks a Sales Manager to lead the sales force, develop targets, coach the team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a background in commerce or retail sales within building materials.

You will monitor the market, create campaigns, review quotes and contracts, and drive process improvements while maintaining excellent client relations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Retail, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, developing, supervising, and providing guidance to employees within the Sales department.
• Monitoring the marketplace and competitor activities to develop effective sales tactics and campaigns.
• Overseeing internal and external sales functions; generating and reviewing quotes, estimates, agreements and contracts for clients.
• Processing and reviewing customer orders for accuracy and to ensure excellent service across the department.
• Identifying ways to continuously improve programs and processes related to sales and customer service.
• Monitoring order and project progress, maintaining updated records management.
• Updating and maintaining homebuilders' standard model specifications and pricing.
