Job summary

The Dufresne Group in Saskatoon is hiring a Sales Manager to lead our store team to achieve sales, margin, conversion and other key measures.

You will coach and develop team members, lead training and performance discussions, and ensure exceptional guest service consistent with Ashley Sales Approach. Availability for days, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales leadership experience.
• Experience coaching a team accountable for performance targets.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in achieving store goals for sales, margin, conversion and other key measures.
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen individual and store performance.
• Build an engaged, accountable team through feedback, recognition and performance management.
• Lead team meetings, training and performance discussions.
• Coach the team on the Ashley Sales Approach, product knowledge, promotions and guest engagement.
• Review performance trends and implement action plans.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service.
• Partner with the General Sales Manager and Store Operations Team on store priorities.
• Maintain showroom standards and ensure policies and processes are followed.
• Support the attraction, onboarding and retention of a strong team.

As the Sales Manager, You Will

What You Bring

• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to interpret results and turn them into clear actions
• Post-secondary education is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered
• Availability for days, evenings and weekends
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check may be required
