ABOUT THE JOB

DART has been growing at a rapid pace over the last few years. To sustain its rapid growth, we are committed to strengthening our customer-facing sales team. The Outside Sales Manager’s main objective is to strengthen DART's presence primarily in the Americas/Brazil by visiting clients and leading the sales activities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for creating and executing the business unit plan and strategy.
  • Oversee key customer accounts for a specific business unit.
  • In charge of closing deals and meeting annual sales targets.
  • Handle all customer relationships (participation in site visits, events, trade shows, etc.).
  • Visit customers on a regular basis with a structured approach depending on the opportunity.
  • Actively promote the wide range of DART products to customers.
  • Act as a problem solver with the customers and work with engineering/operations to come out with customized solutions.
  • Prepare encompassing offers / contractual agreements with customers (fleet solutions, value propositions, supply agreements).
  • Deliver the product/service sales pitch and sell the value proposition (benefits, $$$ savings, etc.).
  • Collect new product development ideas from customers.
  • Obtain and provide feedback from customers on competitor products.
  • Participate in new year pricing strategies.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Over 5 years of experience in the helicopter industry or any related fields preferable
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for results and customer focus
  • Deep understanding of the buying cycles of large helicopter operators and completion centers
  • Experience in dealing with the aerospace market is an asset. Helicopter experience preferred.
  • A degree or diploma in Engineering or Commerce is an asset.
  • Field experience (pilot, mechanics, maintenance) is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English/ Portuguese is an asset
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Have business acumen.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time.
