Job summary

Caivan Development Corporation is seeking a Sales Floor Manager to lead daily sales floor operations and drive new home sales at the Caivan Sales Gallery. You will oversee Sales Associates, ensure an exceptional customer experience, enforce sales processes, and coordinate with Marketing and Operations on promotions and events.

You will bring 2+ years in a similar role, bilingual English/French is an asset, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar retail/customer-facing role.
• Post-secondary education in Sales/Marketing or related field is an asset.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily sales floor operations, including scheduling.
• Hire, onboard and train new Sales staff.
• Foster a professional, motivated sales culture aligned with Caivan’s standards.
• Ensure model homes and offices meet Caivan’s presentation standards.
• Mentor Sales Associates to support Sales Consultants and CRM usage.
• Oversee CRM activity to ensure 100% of interactions are logged.

Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting a dynamic Sales Team?

We are seeking a vibrant Sales Floor Manager responsible for leading day-to-day sales floor operations and driving consistent new home sales execution at the Caivan Sales Gallery.

This role provides direct leadership to Sales Associates, ensures an exceptional customer experience, enforces sales processes and Customer Relations Management compliance, and maintains deal flow accuracy.

The Sales Floor Manager serves as the on-site Sales Leader and direct liaison between Sales, Marketing and Operations.

Compensation includes a base salary plus a monthly incentive program for added earning potential.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A passion & enthusiasm for providing outstanding leadership & training support
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience delivering exceptional client service in a customer-facing, in-person role
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Post-Secondary Education in Sales, Marketing, Retail Management or a related field is considered an asset
• The ability to stay in Ottawa for 3 months of dedicated in-person training - this is a great opportunity to visit & explore the Nation’s Capital! Travel accommodations & incidentals are included during your time in Ottawa

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily sales floor operations, including scheduling
• Hire, onboard and train new Sales staff
• Foster a professional, motivated and service oriented Sales culture that adheres to Caivan’s Sales Standards & Professional Conduct
• Ensure offices and model homes are presented at Caivan’s Sales Gallery Operations & Housekeeping Standards
• Mentor Sales Associates to anticipate the needs of Sales Consultants, providing pro-active support
• Oversee CRM usage for Sales Associates and Sales Consultants, ensuring 100% of interactions are logged
• Manage opening & closing procedures and overall Sales Gallery readiness

Customer Interaction & Experience

• Ensure all prospective buyers receive prompt, professional and knowledgeable service
• Serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns and objections
• Leads by example through demonstrating exceptional customer service

Process Adherence

• Reinforce existing Caivan process standards across all Sales Team members
• Roll out and train any new sales office standards, always focusing on exceptional customer service
• Validate contract accuracy and coach against any identified gaps in skills or knowledge
• Hold Sales Associates accountable to timely compliance requirements including mortgage pre-approval and deposit collection
• Maintain expert knowledge on homes, floor plans, pricing, options and incentives
• Stay current on inventory, release schedules and pricing changes
• Coordinate with marketing on promotions, signage and community events

Additional Notes

• This is a customer-facing role requiring regular presence on the sales floor
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and computer use may be required
• Weekend work is required, with scheduling based on Sales Gallery hours & business needs
• Flexibility to support special events, launches, and peak sales periods may be required
• Occasional visits to construction sites or model homes may be required
• Protective footwear and headgear must be worn if visiting any active construction sites
