As part of the sales team, you will be asked to do the following:

  1. Strong understanding of and ability to create, demonstrate and deliver multi-media advertising solutions designed to help drive quality leads and return on investment
  2. Consult with potential clients to identify and present YP benefit-focused solutions
  3. Understand and promote YP products and services relevant to each customer
  4. Design proposals for customers based on needs assessment
  5. Ensure all documentation & reports are complete and accurate
  6. Understand, promote, and continuously educate self about YP products and services
  7. Provide exceptional service while growing YP sales revenue by developing a value partnership with clients
  8. Ensure all canvass deadlines are met and books are closed on schedule. Maintain positive and effective customer relationships
  9. Represent YP professionally and enthusiastically both to internal and external customers

What we are looking for:

  4. Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in Sales and Media advertising
  5. Diploma/degree in Business, Marketing or Education (asset)
  6. Working knowledge of internet search
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented
  8. Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize tasks
  9. Interest in Web, Social Media, and creative advertising across multiple mediums
  10. Strong technology skills including Tablet PC, CRM tools, Microsoft Office
  11. Ability to assess ROI and KPIs, explain the numbers
  12. Strong Business Acumen
  13. Negotiation skills and excellent communication skills
  14. Fact finding and needs analysis
  15. Ability to close sales with diagnostic solutions
  16. Deadline driven

  19. Valid Driver's License & access to own car
  20. Located in or around Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta
