As part of the sales team, you will be asked to do the following:
- Strong understanding of and ability to create, demonstrate and deliver multi-media advertising solutions designed to help drive quality leads and return on investment
- Consult with potential clients to identify and present YP benefit-focused solutions
- Understand and promote YP products and services relevant to each customer
- Design proposals for customers based on needs assessment
- Ensure all documentation & reports are complete and accurate
- Understand, promote, and continuously educate self about YP products and services
- Provide exceptional service while growing YP sales revenue by developing a value partnership with clients
- Ensure all canvass deadlines are met and books are closed on schedule. Maintain positive and effective customer relationships
- Represent YP professionally and enthusiastically both to internal and external customers

What we are looking for:
- Motivated by results to achieve company set targets
- Ability to overcome objections with perseverance
- Strong organizational/planning skills and time management
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in Sales and Media advertising
- Diploma/degree in Business, Marketing or Education (asset)
- Working knowledge of internet search
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize tasks
- Interest in Web, Social Media, and creative advertising across multiple mediums
- Strong technology skills including Tablet PC, CRM tools, Microsoft Office
- Ability to assess ROI and KPIs, explain the numbers
- Strong Business Acumen
- Negotiation skills and excellent communication skills
- Fact finding and needs analysis
- Ability to close sales with diagnostic solutions
- Deadline driven
- Ability to build partnerships with customers
- Self-starter
- Valid Driver's License & access to own car
- Located in or around Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta
- Google Certification (asset)
