Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Growing the sales of Monarch products within the assigned territory.
  • Managing the complete sales cycle from consultation with customers to closing.
  • Identifying new customers through research, networking and cold calling.
  • Implementing marketing plans to increase sales and margins.
  • Proactively managing existing accounts while prospecting for new business within existing customer base.
  • Developing and implementing detailed plans to maximize sales for each customer.
  • Collaborating with Business Development, Product Management and Engineering to develop effective sales plans, ensuring sales and margin targets are met in the near term and sustained into the future.
  • Facilitating improved communication within the organization by monitoring current and future requirements to ensure Monarch is well positioned to sustain and increase business.
  • Monitoring customers’ business conditions and communicating with the organization to ensure customer service and financial targets are being met.
  • Compiling and communicating accurate sales forecasts continuously.
  • Conduct all activities and execute all duties with enthusiasm and a positive, results- focused attitude.
  • Support company initiatives and policies enthusiastically.
  • Travel throughout North America approximately one week a month.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
  • An established track record of selling technical or industrial products and solutions, demonstrating success through various market conditions.
  • Experience that demonstrates capability of developing solutions with customers’ Engineering Departments.
  • Will have experience and success selling to OEM’s.
Education Required:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.

  • Proven ability to build lasting business-to-business sales relationships while exceeding sales growth and profitability goals.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency with a proven record of following though to meet deadlines and commitments.
