The role involves facilitating growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and excellent management of key client relationships. The candidate will maintain a record of revenue generation from sales and syndications and ensure compliance with internal control standards, audit, regulatory, and policies.

  • Lead and execute business development plans to meet or exceed goals.
  • Provide strategic input as a trusted advisor for business decisions.
  • Recommend strategies and initiatives based on in-depth business understanding.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
  • Advise on sales strategies considering market and industry insights.
  • Conduct analysis to resolve strategic issues.
  • Develop business cases, identify needs, analyze options, and assess ROI.
  • Set business priorities, advise on resources, and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Network with industry contacts for insights and best practices.
  • Manage databases, ensuring data governance standards are met.
  • Lead change management programs, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation.
  • Manage risks associated with the portfolio efficiently.
  • Oversee review processes, reporting, and documentation adherence.
  • Lead operational programs, ensuring quality and adaptability.
  • Serve as the daily sales contact for clients regarding product info, pricing, and timelines.
  • Gather data, prepare documentation, and support pre-sales activities.
  • Track implementation requests and improve sales support materials.
  • Compile client information and provide research support to sales teams.
  • Assist with sales administration, ensuring seamless client experience.
  • Maintain accurate client data and ensure correct billing.
  • Operate at a group/enterprise level, serving as a resource for senior leaders.
  • Apply expertise to address complex, ambiguous situations and implement changes.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience with a related post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Credit qualifications if applicable, with relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Proven success in business development and networking.
  • Knowledge of industry verticals and market competition.
  • Experience in negotiations, RFP responses, and sales strategies.
  • Deep understanding of risk management, relationship management, and sales management.
  • Working knowledge of change leadership, conflict resolution, resource planning, and business acumen.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and influence skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and use data-driven decision making.

Salary: $84,000.00 - $156,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried
