About the Role

Alivio Care is seeking a results-oriented Sales Development Specialist to drive the growth of our client base, with a particular focus on Health Care Aid and Nursing services. The ideal candidate must have prior experience acquiring new clients for a company in the home care, health care staffing, or health services sector. This role requires someone with a proven track record of business growth through strategic outreach, relationship-building, and market development.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify and secure new client relationships in Calgary and surrounding areas.
  2. Focus on growing our Health Care Aid and Nursing service lines.
  3. Build and maintain strong connections with referral sources, health care professionals, care facilities, and community organizations.
  4. Develop and execute strategic sales and outreach initiatives.
  5. Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to prospective clients.
  6. Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, goals, and results using CRM tools.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales within a home care agency, health care staffing firm, long-term care, seniors living, or similar organization.
  2. Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers.
  3. Strong knowledge of the Calgary health care market and local client needs.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed growth targets.
  6. Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
