Job summary

JMHospitality|TorontoBramptonWest is seeking an energetic Sales Coordinator to support group bookings, meetings, and client relationships for Home2 Suites and Hilton Garden Brampton. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll help turn inquiries into bookings and coordinate with front desk and hotel operations to deliver accurate, professional group experiences.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in hotel sales or coordination, strong communication skills, and a proactive, flexible approach

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a Hotel Coordinator, Sales Coordinator, or in a similar role.
• Proven experience building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong sales, negotiation, account management and guest services skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; experience with Hilton PMS or similar systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of internet marketing and social media.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Positive, proactive approach to problem-solving with leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and occasional weekends.
• Professional appearance and commitment to representing the hotel positively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to group, meeting and event inquiries, ensuring prompt follow-up.
• Handle incoming reservation calls for groups and meetings.
• Support the Director of Sales with proposals, contracts, room blocks, reports and presentations.
• Help secure new corporate, group, sports, extended-stay and banquet business.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct hotel tours, site inspections and property showings.
• Coordinate room blocks, rooming lists, billing details, contracts and event requirements.
• Communicate booking details with Front Desk, Operations, Housekeeping, Food&Beverage and other departments.
• Anticipate client and guest needs and provide proactive solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in Hilton’s PMS (PEP) and other hotelsystems.
• Support sales initiatives, presentations, networking and promotional activities.
• Identify opportunities to upsell guestrooms, meetings spaces and F&B services.
• Remain available to on-site clients and address their needs promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Sales.
