Job summary

Scandinave Spa Whistler is seeking a Sales Coordinator to turn inquiries into bookings and grow group sales. You will support day-to-day group sales activities, prepare quotes and confirmations, and cultivate relationships with hotels, concierges, local businesses, and activity partners on site.

You will represent the brand in Whistler Village, assist with marketing campaigns, and attend events. The role requires staying active on events and occasionally traveling for fam trips or partner visits.

Qualifications

• Energetic, curious and motivated to contribute to a growing wellness company.
• Minimum 2 years of sales, marketing or customer service experience is an asset.
• Experience with Office software; POS or booking system is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the sales plan with the Marketing Manager to drive business objectives.
• Coordinate, execute, and report on group sales with Destination Management Companies and private group organizers.
• Lead Scandinave Spa’s referral and reward programs for Whistler businesses.
• Manage the Whistler Village presence: signage, brochures, partner relations, and visits (FAMs).
• Represent Scandinave Spa at key events, including setup, teardown, and logistics.
• Support charitable donations and assist marketing campaigns (contests, social, PR).
• Provide administrative support and handle other tasks for smooth operations.

Sales Coordinator

Play a key role in bringing groups to an iconic wellness brand and building the partnerships that keep them coming back.

Are you energetic, curious, and motivated to contribute to a growing wellness company? Scandinave Spa Whistler is looking for a Sales Coordinator. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the spa's group sales day-to-day, responding to enquiries, preparing quotes and confirmations, and building relationships with hotel concierges, local businesses and activity partners that drive new bookings and revenue. You will also be our presence on the ground in Whistler Village and at events. You will lend a hand on marketing campaigns along the way.

Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000

Your mission: Turn conversations into bookings

• Coordinating and executing the sales plan with the Marketing Manager to drive business objectives, including new business and partnerships.
• Coordinating, executing, and reporting on group sales (15+ people) with Destination Management Companies and private group organizers.
• Leading Scandinave Spa’s referral and reward programs for Whistler businesses.
• Managing the Scandinave Spa’s presence in Whistler Village: coordinating signage, distributing brochure, building relationships with hotel concierges, retailers, activity providers and other partners, and facilitating partner/industry visits (FAMs).
• Representing Scandinave Spa at key events with pre-event preparation, attending event, set up, tear down and managing logistics on the day. Will involve standing for extended periods of time and some heavy lifting. Some event travel may be required.
• Managing Scandinave Spa’s charitable donations.
• Assisting the Marketing Manager with marketing activities such as contesting, social media, advertising, and PR.
• Providing administrative support as required.
• All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Scandinave Spa Whistler.

What we’re looking for:

• Post-secondary education in business, marketing or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales, marketing or customer service experience is an asset.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent; experience with a point-of-sale or booking system is an asset.
• Valid BC driver's licence, own vehicle preferred.
• Must be available to work full-time and flexible to shift the work schedule around to accommodate events, groups and media visits.
• Knowledge of the spa, hospitality, or tourism industry is an asset.
