Job summary

Sysco Windsor is seeking a Sales Support Associate to cover holidays, assist with a range of tasks, and prepare for a full-time territory assignment within six months of onboarding. During the six‑month development period you will collaborate with the District Sales Manager, handle assigned duties, and train for a Sales Consultant role while pursuing growth in B2B, account management, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in sales.
• Post-secondary education; CPSA designation preferred.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships and grow sales.
• Strong financial and business acumen and ability to plan and execute business plans.
• Demonstrated skills in consultative selling, networking and negotiations.
• Business and restaurant operations acumen to manage sophisticated customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost and expense ratio.
• Strong communication skills; effective with internal and external teams.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, including handling multiple initiatives.

• Articulates Sysco value proposition to onboard new customers.
• Strategic Account Planning, developing new business and growing portfolio.
• Evaluates customer needs and analyzes market trends.
• Negotiates to manage profitable margins.
• Stays informed of market conditions and product innovations.
• Uses Sysco 360 CRM and Salesforce for pipeline management.
• Participates in training to sharpen consultative selling and product knowledge.
• Handles credit and accounts receivable tasks.
