Job summary

Sysco Regina is seeking an entry-level Sales Consultant Trainee to develop foundational sales skills within an assigned territory. You will work closely with experienced consultants to learn Sysco's sales processes, product offerings, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include prospecting, building client relationships, presenting solutions, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 0-2+ years of experience in sales or a related role.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Present Sysco's products and services and provide solutions.
• Prepare sales proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts within guidelines.
• Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, credit, marketing) to support customers.
• Maintain accurate sales records using CRM and other tools.
• Participate in sales meetings and training programs.
